Institucional Parties
The Institución
Educativa Rural Marco A. Rojo institutionalized since 2006 the traditional
"Fiestas Marconianas" with the aim of uniting in common purposes of
peace and coexistence the entire educational community, giving special
participation to parents and graduates.
OBJETIVOS DE CALIDAD.
Gestión directiva
•
Strengthen the processes of self-evaluation and
institutional evaluation, allowing community participation in aspects such as
the formation of school government and all others that lead to improvement
actions.
•
Develop strategies to strengthen cultural events
through participation in Marconian festivals, science fair, cultural and sports
week, water and fishing festivals, civic and cultural events, inter-collegiate
games and other inter-institutional activities.
•
Develop the pedagogy of love as an essential element
for a good school climate in the educational community.
•
Establish agreements with higher education
institutions that favor the comprehensive education of students.
Gestión académica.
•
Design a curriculum that responds to the policies
outlined in the PEI, the guidelines and the basic standards of competences that
allow the integral training of students and respond to the needs of the
context.
•
Develop self-assessment, heteroevaluation and
co-assessment processes that favor the monitoring of teaching and learning
processes.
•
Plan classes that demonstrate the implementation of
the constructivist pedagogical model with a socio-environmental approach,
emphasizing from the pedagogy of love all teaching and learning processes
•
Use the results of external and internal evaluations
for continuous improvement, ensuring the reinforcement and recovery processes
of students.
Gestión financiera
•
Categorize and prioritize institutional needs in
accordance with established standards for educational resource investment
processes.
•
Provide financial and accounting reports, which make
visible the support to educational academic management and the administration
of resources, thus guaranteeing the quality of education.
•
Ensure the complementary services of students,
facilitating permanence and inclusion in the different institutional processes.
Gestión comunitaria.
•
Design a strategy that facilitates the processes of
inclusion of the different actors of the community in the teaching and learning
processes with didactic materials according to their skills and abilities.
•
Promote the pedagogy of love in the peaceful
resolution of conflicts, from schools of parents, student council, school
government and other institutional instances, favoring the sense of belonging
and promoting the institutional horizon.

PHILOSOPHY
The
INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA RURAL MARCO A ROJO of Puerto Valdivia, provides education
aimed at human development and social transformation, exercising in the
cultivation of cognitive, affective, valuing, communicative, playful, and
policies, environmental and labor, that lead him to his full personal
fulfillment and towards maturity; understanding that from the society the man
and the woman is conceived as part of a community, that with ethical
attitudes-Politics influences it from coexistence as a process of personal and
social development, capable of evaluating, its own actions to establish value
judgments and make decisions, shaping the formation of an autonomous subject,
responsible and free, located in its social, cultural and natural historical
context.
VISION
By
2025 INSTITUCION EDUCATIVA RURAL MARCO A ROJO will have developed the guiding
principles of quality and will have the capacity to empower its students to be,
know, do, live and transcend, through the use of environmental resources,
technological resources, pacts for peaceful coexistence, the implementation of
inclusion policies and alliances with other institutions in the region.

Institución Educativa Rural Marco A Rojo
The
history of the institution allows us to observe that the primary was founded in
the year 1939, with an educator and a single grade. In the course of the years
both grades and places were extended, until reaching the year 1963 where the
entire primary school is completed and, it is called ESCUELA URBANA MARCO A.
ROJO, named after the priest MARCO ANTONIO ROJO who worked in Valdivia and was
one of the architects who influenced the creation of this educational center.
The
baccalaureate began functioning in 1970 as a secondary school attached to the
IDEM of Valdivia, in the municipal capital, with the name of Liceo Municipal de
Puerto Valdivia.
In
1984 the primary and the baccalaureate were integrated by Decree 0344 of March
10, 1983 under the name of CONCENTRACIÓN EDUCATIVA MARCO A. ROJO.
Initially
the baccalaureate began to operate in a local borrowed by the parish, which was
directed by the priest Jaime Osorio. Today it operates on a physical plant that
was formerly a military base, then donated and suitable for education. It
should be noted that this land was presented by Mr. HUMBERTO ESTRADA,
especially for education.
The
first promotion of the Basic Secondary (grade 9), was in the year 1982.
In
June 1998 the Third Day for Adults began to operate, governed by Decree 3011 of
1997.
For
the year 1999 the grades 10º and 11º are created according to Resolution 10336
of November 22, 1999 and, this same year they approve the studies of Preschool
to Eleventh by Resolution 11010 of December 02 of 1999 and it receives the name
of COLEGIO MARCO A. ROJO.
The
first Rector in property is appointed in February 1987, this was under the
direction of the Rector of the IDEM of Valdivia while the establishment
functioned as an annex. Then they were
as managers in the direction: AICARDO GONZÁLEZ, RAMIRO TABORDA and JOSÉ
ÁLVAREZ; the first two worked as full-time educators and the last as director
of the Núcleo Educativo 0809.
In
the year 2002 is named institution by Resolution 15029 of October 25 of 2002,
being with the name of INSTITUCION EDUCATIVA RURAL MARCO A. ROJO.
MISION
The
INSTITUCION EDUCATIVA RURAL MARCO A ROJO is an official institution. Offers pre-school,
primary and secondary; promotes comprehensive, relevant and inclusive training,
based on scientific and technical knowledge; oriented from the pedagogy of love
as fundamental values of peaceful coexistence seeking to impact the educational
community.
